Note to EEdiots: if you think I'm going to give you an audience here for your pointless, stupid comments, you are sorely mistaken.

The Twitter tweets are automatically imported and will make much more sense with the new theme I'll be launching in the next couple of days.

It's a small cost of eternal vigilance. Since posting this article, the Mantle page on Wikipedia has had several changes made, including a clean up of the temperature section. Much to the dismay of one editor who thinks the removal of thos whacky claims amounts to a violation of the Wikimedia's neutral point of view.

All we need is a few geos to adopt an important page each. With overlap everywhere, we can keep tabs on changes and ensure the information is as accurate as possible.

I see hope. You just need there to be a few geologists, like me, who can get angry enough to push back with enough force to keep things honest.

I applaud your call-to-arms, but I don't see any hope for science in Wikipedia ... the 'review' process is a joke. Articles can always be changed back by any irrational zealot looking for a platform.

Actual scientists simply do not have the time to play the games w/ the science punditry.
